For the mandatory service in 2024 and 2025, the National Service Authority (NSA) has assigned 106,223 university graduates.
For the 2024/25 service year, the National Service Authority (NSA) has assigned 106,223 university graduates.
A subsequent mop-up exercise, according to the NSA, will be held for any personnel who have not yet been assigned.

In a statement signed and released on Friday, NSA Director-General Osei Assibey Antwi noted that the posted personnel included Ghanaian graduates from all accredited universities in the country’s 2024 cohort.
This posting also includes Ghanaians with international degrees, defaulters, and private applicants who registered for national service. Mr. Antwi added that the validation and registration procedure must be followed by all deployed service members.
A. Check Positioning: To check for placement, visit the Authority’s website at www.nss.gov.gh. B. Print Letter of Appointment: Take a copy of the appointment letter and go to the posting location to have it approved.
C. Schedule an appointment to register: After the endorsement, schedule an appointment online for the registration date and time. D. Complete Enlistment: To finish the process, go to the designated Regional Validation and Registration Centre with a valid Ghana Card and an approved appointment letter, he said.
Mr. Antwi said the approval and enrolment at every one of the provincial communities the nation over will start on Thursday, September 12, 2024, and close on Monday, September 30, 2024.
“On Tuesday, October 1, 2024, the National Service for 2024 and 2025 begins. In addition, the Authority urges all national service personnel to embrace their postings as an essential part of their responsibilities and contributions to national development. It also reminds all deployed personnel that reposting is prohibited.

He stated, “Management wishes all service personnel a successful and fulfilling year of service.”
