11-year-old Author Sarah Kittoe Releases her Fourth Book

11-year-old British-Ghanaian novelist Sarah Afua Kittoe has released her fourth book and has kept her word to construct a library for a Tema school. Sarah made the decision two years ago on her first trip to Ghana, following tours of the nation’s media outlets and a visit to Saint Paul’s Methodist Preparatory School in Tema, the former school of her father.

By the time she was nine years old, Sarah had already written and published three children’s books: Lindsey and the Blue Fox, The Friendship Club, and Sarah Kittoe’s Colouring Book.

As of right now, she’s finished and published her fourth novel, “Ama and the Lost Key,” which has a Ghanaian theme. It will be released on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at London’s Croydon Library.

The money Sarah makes from her book sales has always gone to charitable causes. She routinely donates to the Wednesday Club at West Croydon Methodist Church, which helps the homeless in Croydon, and Centrepoint, a charity that is led by King Charles, while she is in London.

Sarah’s parents, Albert and Nozipho Kittoe, were not surprised by her decision to renovate the library of Saint Paul’s Methodist Preparatory School in Tema to show her generosity to the Ghanaian students enrolled there. She had been severely struck by the condition of the library when she had visited.

Sarah is keeping her word by giving the school a state-of-the-art library, having already given copies of her novels to the institution. She has also set up a fully functional computer lab and e-library for the kids. Everyone is inspired by Sarah’s commitment to education and her empathy for others, regardless of age.

Thus far, Sarah has fulfilled her commitment to the school by preinstalling Jemdroid Learning Apps on 20 new HP desktop computers. These apps provide pertinent learning resources ranging from kindergarten to university education.

To begin the physical library project, Sarah also sent 13 large cartons of books to Ghana along with new desks and chairs for the library.

After keeping her word, she returned to London and organized a fundraiser, inspiring kind people, and organizations to give generously of both money and books to help her fulfill her ambition.

Additionally, she continues to fund her charitable endeavors with all of the earnings from the sale of her books.
