Afua Asantewaa Aduonum, a Ghanaian businesswoman and former candidate for the Guinness World Records, has formally announced her intention to try the longest singing marathon by one individual for a second time.

Afua Asantewaa disclosed that the event would happen on December 21, 2024, in an Instagram post published on November 15, 2024.

Despite expressing her excitement about the impending effort, she did not reveal the duration of her record attempt.

“We’re going to do this! Afua posted the official flier announcing the event to Instagram with the message, “I’m ready and excited.”

The Guinness World Record for the “longest singing marathon by an individual” was first tried to be broken by Afua Asantewaa in 2023.
