The 2024 BET Awards was a night to remember, with a star-studded program hosted by the gifted Taraji P. Henson that celebrated Black brilliance in entertainment.

With a stunning rendition of BOA and Where Them Girls At, Megan Thee Stallion opened the program and created a memorable atmosphere for the evening.

The legendary musician Usher received the esteemed Lifetime Achievement Award in recognition of his extraordinary achievements in the music business. A combination of his classics performed by an all-star lineup that included Chlöe Bailey, Childish Gambino, KeKe Palmer, and more, made up the musical spectacular that was the homage. Additionally, Usher won the Best Male R&B/Pop Artiste title.

On the BET Awards stage, up-and-coming talents Shaboozey, Tanner Adell, and Tyla left their mark by displaying their skill and flair.

With the inspirational song “You Can Make It,” which featured Kirk Franklin and the Sunday Service Choir, Will Smith made a comeback to the music industry.

Exciting performances took place throughout the evening, culminating in a breathtaking performance by Victoria Monet, who stunned the crowd by winning her first-ever BET Award.
