“After reevaluating its investment goals, Glovo has chosen to end its activities in Ghana by May 10, 2024. Glovo’s primary objective is to expand and fortify its standing in additional African nations.

“We appreciate the commitment shown over the past few years to expanding Glovo in Ghana by our teams, partners, and riders in the nation,” stated Glovo Africa’s regional general manager, Dima Rasnovsky.

Glovo pledges to provide the local team with severance pay above the legal minimum. Glovo will notify all partners, clients, and couriers of the closure and send out pertinent communications.
