Deloris Frimpong Manso, also known as Delay, is a TV personality and entrepreneur who has taken a strong stand against disparaging remarks made about King Paluta, a budding musical sensation.
This declaration comes in the wake of criticism Kwaku Osei Koranteng Asiedu, also known as KOKA, a Ghanaian entertainment critic and artist management, received for his critical assessment of King Paluta’s vocal prowess.
But Delay said, “No King Paluta slander will be tolerated and that’s on Periodt!” via her WhatsApp channel.
KOKA did not hold back during a conversation on Asempa FM in Accra, labeling King Paluta’s singing voice “useless” and stating that major improvement was required.
“He needs a vocal coach for his singing because his voice is not that fantastic. Throughout the tune, his voice wavers. His singing voice is a useless instrument. Singing needs a structure. His singing must be in key. KOKA observed, “He sings off-key all the time and there’s so much repetition.”
King Paluta’s talents and talent were acknowledged by KOKA despite his harsh comments. He said that King Paluta might succeed if he received the right instruction because of the caliber of his songs and production. “His songs are well-produced, and he writes good songs.” He is a good man in himself. I believe his talent is a blessing. For inspiration and knowledge, KOKA continued, “He needs to look up to artists like Castro, Kofi Kinaata, Amerado, and Sarkodie.”
KOKA suggested that King Paluta get a voice coach in order to hone his skills. “He just needs voice coaching to work on his breathing and key-singing. And as an artist, I promise you he will succeed,” he said.
Delay’s fervent advocacy of King Paluta emphasises both her admiration for the musician and the current discussion around his singing prowess in the Ghanaian music scene.
