Kumasi: During a fight in Abuakwa-Abakomadi, a “cheating” wife fatally stabs her husband.
A 29-year-old lady named Bernice Asantewaa is accused of fatally stabbing her 35-year-old husband, Kofi Antwi, near Abuakwa-Abakomadi in the Ashanti Region.
Residents claim that the altercation over Bernice’s adultery led to the event.

According to information provided to this reporter by the deceased’s brother, Mr. Joseph Acheampong, the tragic event took place on Thursday, October 31, 2024.
Mr. Acheampong revealed that Bernice’s adultery was the reason behind his brother’s marital problems.
He went on to say that Kofi Antwi refused to break up with his family despite their recommendations.
“Kofi Antwi had been on a weeklong business trip prior to his passing. But Bernice swore she would hurt him when he got back,” he claimed.
When he returned, there was a heated argument that ended with both of them stabbing one another. Regretfully, Kofi Antwi passed away from his wounds.
According to Mr. Acheampong, Kofi Antwi’s body has been placed in the mortuary of Okomfo Anokye Teaching Hospital pending an autopsy, while Bernice Asantewaa is undergoing treatment at Suntreso Government Hospital.
