Manchester United surprised everyone by beating Manchester City to win the 2023/2024 FA Cup. The exciting game happened at Wembley Stadium, where Manchester United played with lots of heart and skill.

Managed by Eric Ten Hag, Manchester United faced a strong opponent in Manchester City, who were the favorites to win. City had won the Premier League four times in a row and played very well. But United took their chance and won the game.

The first goal came from Alejandro Garnacho, an Argentine player. A mix-up between City’s goalkeeper Ortega and his defender left the ball free, and Garnacho quickly kicked it into the net. This early goal gave United a good start.

Soon after, Bruno Fernandes made a great pass to Kobbie Mainoo, who easily scored, making it 2-0 for United. The fans were thrilled as their team took the lead.

Even though City didn’t give up, Jeremy Doku scored a goal in the 87th minute, making the score 2-1. But it wasn’t enough, and Manchester United won the match.

This win was special for United, who had many injuries during the season and finished 8th in the Premier League. Now, they have a chance to play in the Europa League.
