President Akufo-Addo: Don’t vote for Mahama; he will undo everything I’ve accomplished.
To elect Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia as Ghana’s next president, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is pushing voters to cast their ballots in December.
He clarified that picking former President John Dramani, the symbol of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), would be bad for the nation’s advancement.
He explained that this was because the former President would reverse the nation’s gains during his government, which was led by the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
“Limited registration for this year’s election has begun. Anyone who is eligible and hasn’t registered yet should do so.
After visiting the Blue Skies Limited headquarters, he addressed a group of supporters in Doboro, in the Greater Accra region, saying, “This is because your right to vote is your power.”
Additionally, our task is straightforward when voting time comes. It appears that he is not pleased with the person I overcame or my job since taking over. I am unable to give such a person authority. When he arrives, he will undo everything we have accomplished,” the President continued.
The NPP’s flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, was then praised by him as the most qualified individual to carry on his efforts and steer Ghana towards economic prosperity.
“I am begging you to cast your vote for the individual I have been working with for the last 7.5 years. President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo hinted, “I have faith in him and I know that he will come and continue the work I have begun.”
