President Tinubu is congratulated by Chief Lamai on his vote of confidence.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has received congratulations from Chief Richard Lamai, a well-known member of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), on the National Council of State’s vote of confidence in his administration.

In an interview with reporters from his Abuja office, the APC mainstay praised the president and said that the country required assurance from its highest advisory body at this crucial juncture, which is when the confidence vote occurred.

The president, the entire APC family, and the country as a whole all benefit greatly from the confidence vote, he said, praising the council members for their proactive efforts to ease tensions in the country.

Chief Lamai, who was the APC Presidential Campaign Council’s Deputy Director of Support Groups the previous year, stated that the president has done a good job thus far and is still headed in the right direction in terms of restoring Nigerians’ faith in him. The president doesn’t require needless diversions, he said.

He exhorted the young people to abstain from violence and to back the Federal Government’s ongoing multisectoral reforms, which have opened up a wealth of opportunity for individuals in diverse fields.

Following a sensitization journey through the South-South states, Chief Lamai expressed her acknowledgement of the difficulties faced by leaders, stating, “Uneasy lies the head that wears a crown.” He urged every Nigerian to help realize the goal of a flourishing country by lending their support, tolerance, and prayers.
