Quick Action: TGMA Artiste of the Year should go to Stonebwoy.

Stonebwoy, a dancehall performer, is predicted by seasoned music producer Joseph Appiah, also known as Quick Action, to win Artiste of the Year at this Saturday’s Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMAs).

The producer, who has collaborated with many well-known artists, expressed his pride in Stonebwoy’s development in a Facebook post. Stonebwoy was a witness to his modest beginnings and his first music producer.

“Stonebwoy for TGMA Artist of the Year,” he wrote.

“I have been seeing this journey from a distance and I am proud of the musical development.

As the first music producer for @Stonebwoy, I can say that he has done a great job of organizing yearly musical concerts, working hard, and earning an international reputation.

“Don’t underestimate his rivals! Stonebwoy should win ARTIST of the Year, in my opinion. Joseph Appiah, called Quick Action (sic), thank you.

As the most awaited event in Ghana’s entertainment calendar approaches in a few days, several industry insiders are still nominating their favorite artists to take home the title of Artiste of the Year.

Similar to Quick Action, seasoned sound engineer and song producer Fred Kyei Mensah has identified King Promise as the most deserving candidate for the throne.

Stonebwoy, King Promise, Nacee, Black Sherif, Sarkodie, and Kuami Eugene are the nominees for Artiste of the Year.
