Stonebwoy responds to criticism about his most recent degree.
Dancehall musician Stonebwoy, who just graduated from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA), has responded to the controversy surrounding his degree.
During a recent appearance on GTV’s Breakfast Show, Stonebwoy talked about his experience as a student at GIMPA in an interview with media personality Kafui Dey.
The artist revealed that he attended nighttime classes because he was unable to attend morning sessions.
He stated: “I attended evening classes. We attended school in the morning. I was unable to attend the classes in the morning. I adore GIMPA because of how well it can accomplish tasks.”
Stonebwoy also vented his annoyance at those who question his most recent academic accomplishments.
The dancehall performer refuted reports that he received his GIMPA degree as a gift, stressing that he earned it with hard work.
According to the president of BHIM, GIMPA is a prestigious school that expects academic brilliance from its students and will not damage its name by giving diplomas to those who don’t put in enough effort.
Stonebwoy was happy to receive a second-class upper degree and hoped that his academic success would motivate others.
