Popular Nigerian comedian Emmanuel Chukwuemeka Ejekwu, also referred to as Mr. Funny or Sabinus, has shared his terrifying experience of his father’s recent kidnapping in Rivers State.

At his Port Harcourt home last week, armed guys abducted Sabinus’s father. An officer was tragically killed when the kidnappers and the local security force engaged in combat as a result of the incident’s escalation.

Although he did not reveal the sum, Sabinus acknowledged in a poignant statement that a ransom was paid to secure his father’s release.
