Vice President Dr. Bawumia was drawn to his request and paid him a visit to show his support. In spite of this, John Peasah disclosed in a Daybreak Hitz interview that he still needs a sizable sum of money for his medical care.

In an effort to raise the money required for his medical treatment overseas, he kindly reminded the public—including Dr Bawumia—of their commitment to stand by him during this difficult period. In order to afford his medical treatment for two rare conditions—Stiff Person Spectrum Disorder and GAD Positive Cerebellar Ataxia—he made a desperate plea for financial support.

Peasah shared his urgent need for $280,000 to maintain his care on Instagram on August 14, 2024, as his resources were running low and his existing treatments were not working.

He’s hoping that with the public’s backing, he can get the money he needs to get past this health obstacle.

“I’m not responding to treatment, which is unfortunate. I’ve been using up almost all of my resources, which are almost at their end,” he wrote.
