The 2024 African Legends Night has announced an extraordinary lineup of headliners, including the iconic Yvonne Chaka Chaka, Ghanaian highlife legend George Jahraa, the revered Adane Best, and the versatile hiplife sensation Okyeame Kwame.
The African Legends Night has firmly established itself as one of Ghana’s best music events, commemorating Africa’s rich musical legacy by bringing together famous artists who have helped define the continent’s music scene.
Since its beginning, the event has honored Africa’s finest musicians, allowing seasoned performers and new talents to engage with audiences of all ages.

Yvonne Chaka Chaka, the “Princess of Africa,” has captivated audiences all over the world with her soulful voice and compelling lyrics for over 30 years. Yvonne Chaka Chaka, known for singles like “Umqombothi,” “Thank You Mr. DJ,” and “I’m Burning Up,” is a music legend as well as a dedicated champion for social change and humanitarian concerns in Africa. Her performance at African Legends Night is highly anticipated and will undoubtedly be a highlight of the evening.
Yvonne Chaka Chaka will be joined on stage by Ghana’s own Highlife maestro, George Jahraa. George Jahraa is renowned for his contribution to the Highlife genre, a uniquely Ghanaian sound that has impacted other performers across Africa. His famous hits “Ashikele” and “Asor” have lasted the test of time, appealing to both older and younger audiences. George Jahraa’s performance is likely to invoke nostalgia while also demonstrating the lasting attraction of Highlife music.
