Afua Asantewaa Aduonum has apologized and kept her lips shut, but she is still not ready to accept the humble pie after receiving a lot of backlash on social media.

She gave more details about her Sing-A-Thon attempt and its consequences when she appeared on United Televison’s United Showbiz program, which was hosted by MzGee.

She states that her goal in breaking the GWR was to promote Ghanaian music, not to obtain a certificate. This is the first thing she wants Ghanaians to know.

Ghanaians gave Afua Asantewaa, who rose to fame after her sing-a-thon effort, overwhelming support; nevertheless, she was disqualified and chose to keep that information to herself and her team.

Ghanaians chastised Afua for concealing the outcome from others who came to the Akwaaba community to encourage her and offer support after the GWR made the results public.

She continues to refuse to acknowledge her error despite everything that has happened, blaming various individuals for her disqualification and making up reasons that don’t match up.
