If Bawumia loses, I’ll go back to the temple and serve the gods, said Mama Pat.

Evangelist Patricia Asiamah, formerly known as Nana Agradaa and now known as Mama Pat, has stated that if her prediction that Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia would win the 2024 presidential election is not realised, she will forsake Christianity and go back to her previous life as a fetish priestess.

Mama Pat, the founder and head of the Heaven Way Church, stated in a social media video that she had received a supernatural revelation that Dr. Bawumia, the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), was the inevitable victor of the elections scheduled for December 7, 2024.

“Dr. Bawumia’s victory in the elections was already predetermined,” she stated. Therefore, he will win whether or not you vote for him. Why not give him your vote? I’m merely trying to share the vision God has given me with Ghanaians; I’m not here to engage in politics. I think that everything that God teaches me is true.

According to the evangelist, who came to Christianity after a contentious history as a fetish priestess, her belief in God depends on this prophecy coming to pass.

Dr. Bawumia claims that failure to win will disprove her revelations and cause her to revert to her previous spiritual path.

“I’m not serving the right God, and whatever revelation I believe is fake, if Bawumia doesn’t win,” she said. “I’ll return to the shrine and serve the gods if that’s the case. Take note of what I say.

On social media, Nana Agradaa’s speech has generated a lot of discussion, with many people challenging her assertions and intentions.

Some supporters praised her prophecy, while others lambasted her for combining politics and religion and issuing such a harsh call.

Regarding the evangelist’s statement, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, who is running to succeed President Nana Akufo-Addo, has not responded.

The stakes are bigger than ever for all parties involved in the forthcoming election, which is nonetheless a highly anticipated and hotly contested affair.
