Today, John Mahama releases his memoirs in Russian.

The Russian translation of former president John Dramani Mahama’s memoir, “My First Coup d’Etat and Other Stories from the Lost Decades of Africa,” will be released in Moscow on Wednesday.

The book was published in July 2012 as an anthology of Mahama’s early life observations and personal experiences.

Mr. Mahama announced his joy at the publication of his memoir’s Russian translation in a statement. “I am thrilled to be launching the Russian version of my memoir in Moscow,” Mahama remarked.
