Can’t we be brothers if we can’t even perform P Square? Paul Okoye aspires to peacemaking.

Despite their continuous feud, Paul Okoye, one-half of the well-known Nigerian music group P-Square, has stated that he wants to live in harmony with his twin brother, Peter Okoye (Mr. P).

“Even if we don’t do P-Square, can’t we be brothers?” Paul asked his brother in a moving Instagram live video. Can’t we just be brothers, even if we’re not good musicians? It’s so awful that I don’t want to talk much.”

When Paul Okoye claimed that his twin brother, Peter, was attempting to have him detained by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), the continuing P-Square story took a drastic turn. In a recent interview, Paul asserted this, intensifying the brothers’ conflict. In an open letter posted on social media, Peter reacted to the accusations, refuting them and expressing his genuine concern: learning the truth about Northside Music, a business purportedly owned by their elder brother Jude Okoye and his spouse Ifeoma.

Fans are disappointed by the public schism between the Okoye brothers because many had hoped for a long-term reconciliation following their 2017 breakup and 2021 temporary reunion.
