Dada KD alleges that Agya Koo stole instruments from Akufo-Addo valued at GH¢40,000.
Dada Kwakye Duah, better known by his stage name Dada KD, is a singer from Ghana who has opened up about his experiences being harassed by some celebrities during the 2020 national elections.
He clarified that he planned a street musical concert as part of a campaign strategy to back President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
Dada KD narrated how he, actress Agya Koo, and a person by the name of Pasco brought the proposal to President Akufo-Addo, who gave his approval and supplied funding for their project.
Dada KD revealed in an Onua TV interview with Captain Smart that he felt wronged when Agya Koo stole instruments valued at GH¢40,000 and Pasco was given a Tundra car while he, the one who came up with the plan, got nothing.
“I made a plea with two persons I met and we went to visit the president together. My companions were Agya Koo and Pasco. We suggested using music and concerts as a campaign tactic to help Akufo-Addo win the 2024 election.
“We received funding and other resources from Akufo-Addo in response to our request. Two billion Ghanaian Cedis were set aside for the purchase of an automobile and instruments for the street campaign. Ultimately, even though I came up with the concept, Agya Koo kept GH¢40,000 worth of instruments for himself, Pasco kept the Tundra, and I got nothing,” he said.
Dada KD expressed his dissatisfaction with his coworkers, believing they had deceived him.
