The Ghanaian artist Okyeame Kwame has discussed how he deals with the difficulties of parenting in the social media age, especially with regard to the subject of pornography.
During his appearance on Home Affairs with Edem Knight-Tay, he discussed how he teaches his kids about the risks they could face when using the internet.

“We anticipated that there would be issues with pornography. When my kids were teenagers, we had a conversation with them about the risks associated with what they could view online, as well as the advantages and disadvantages of watching pornography, Okyeame Kwame said.
He stressed that instead of spreading fear by denouncing pornography as essentially bad, he and his wife Annica decided to teach their kids about the potential effects of such stuff.
“I don’t tell them that watching porn is bad because it will send them to hell.” Children may continue to do it even when they become older and understand that cautions are unfounded.
“Rather, we concentrate on elucidating the direct impact it has on them,” he stated.
In addition, Okyeame stated that they discipline their kids for breaking the laws of using technology while rewarding Sir Kwame Bota and Sante for using educational websites.
The musician disclosed that in order to protect their kids from abuse and internet dangers, the couple keeps a strict eye on their social media usage.
