The management of Ghanaian musician Olive the Boy, Loop Music Ltd., has announced that the highly anticipated tour of East Africa that was supposed to take place in April has been postponed.

The company Loop Music Ltd. stated in a statement made available on its website and social media pages that “unforeseen circumstances beyond our control have necessitated this decision.”

They went on to state “The safety and satisfaction of our fans and team remain our top priority, and we believe this is the most responsible course of action given the current situation.”

Olive the Boy, who gained popularity in various African countries with his hit song “Goodsin,” has a devoted fan base.

After the COVID-19 pandemic caused delays, fans in the area were excitedly awaiting his first live concerts, according to Loop Music.

Loop Music Limited tweeted that they “understand[ing of] the disappointment this news may bring to our fans in East Africa, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused.”

In addition, the firm said in the statement that it is “actively working to reschedule the tour dates to a time when we can deliver the exceptional experience that our fans deserve.”

The management promised to “return to East Africa with an unforgettable tour experience” and thanked Olive the Boy’s “fans, partners, and supporters for their unwavering understanding and continued enthusiasm.”
