The Reverend Minister advises couples not to let money worries ruin their time in the bedroom.
Dr. Nanayaa Owusu-Prempeh, a Reverend Minister of the Authority Bible Church, has advised couples to prioritise their intimate lives and not allow financial burdens to get in the way of their intimate moments.
While financial difficulties were unavoidable, she added that they shouldn’t be allowed to overwhelm the happiness and connection that come from personal times. She maintained that maintaining a strong intimate relationship between couples required a clear mental condition.
During an open debate on TV3’s “Confession,” the reverend minister made this claim, emphasising the effect that financial stress can have on a couple’s quality of romantic encounter.
The mind is involved in lovemaking acts. A man will not enjoy intimate moments with his girlfriend if he brings his money troubles into the bedroom.”
She claims that stressing about money can lead to mental pressure, which can exacerbate tension and make it harder for partners to connect and enjoy themselves.
She highlighted, addressing the guys in particular, that bringing financial concerns into the bedroom prevents connection.
“To the men who are struggling financially, please don’t bring these worries into the bedroom. Good sex is impossible for you. Since sex is a mental game, you can’t delight yourself or your partner when you’re stressed.
Your mind is not prepared for pleasure since it is preoccupied with the groceries you have to prepare, the rent, and the bills,” the woman said.
Dr. Owusu-Prempeh advised couples to have a laid-back attitude during intimate moments, while facing financial difficulties.
She made the point that, in the same way that scripture provides consolation to the distressed, couples must psychologically release their tension during their intimate moments.
“Remember, nevertheless, that man cannot survive on bread alone. You must quiet your thoughts. It is comparable to what it says in the Bible, “Come to me, all you who are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”
